Donuts in Denver

Location: Denver, CO
Donut shop: Voodoo Doughnuts Mile High Shop

Donut Camp's inaugural donut road trip took place in Denver, CO. It was a sweet sweet place to kick-off a summer of donut-adventures because neither of us had spent anytime in Colorado before.  

Luckily, we had great tour guides and landed at Voodoo Doughnuts Mile High Shop on E. Colfax. Hadley and Kamal were the ideal donut companions. We got a dozen donuts to split among the four of us. It was clear we were in good company when Kamal said,

"One for now, one for during the hike, and one for afterwards."

We took our donuts to Rocky Mountain National Park. They made it all the way to snowy Bear Lake before they were rapidly consumed. The pictures below feature the Loop Doughnut (five stars; would eat again).
